wow, i was thinking that game looks lame, cause its OLD, but i did like how you can buy things. most games dont have stuff like that, and thats why their games are weak.

THEME BASED GTA! WOOT WOOT. That game is aaaaaaaaaaall about money, Sierra prolly paid to use Vice City's engine, or made their own, at this day, you prolly need 1/3 of the people they needed back in the day to make an engine like that.

The game sucks. It'll be just like The Godfather game. I played a Demo at E3. The Graphics sucked, the gameplay sucked, even the voice acting sucked. Don't get it, sucks so badly. It sucks like a virgin giving head. They suck at sucking.

Now maybe I'm wrong but when the GTA's came out, didn't people and gaming companies say stuff like "this game will revolutionize gaming," and shit like that, I don't know exactly what they said but it was obviously true, I mean, would games like Gun, The Godfather, True Crime, and The Warriors or whatever it was called have been made if not for GTA? I just think that it's funny that every comment has been about comparing the game to Vice City when it couldn't possibly have been more obviously that it was for the most part loosely based on Scarface, who knows, maybe they coulcn't get the rights to make Scarface or maybe they wanted the technology for those types of games to get better before they made The Godfather and Scarface, who knows and who cares! Good day all.

To clear some stuff up. The game looks about 10 times better than this for the Xbox 360. They did a huge article on it. Pacino isnt voicing it becuase his voice has become to raspy over the years, but they have a pretty talented guy that can voice him pretty well. If anything GTA is a rip off of Scarface, not the other way around. Rockstar even said that they borrowed so many elements from Scarface ranging from the clubs, the attitude, the look, the mansion u own, the guns in it, the chainsaw scene, etc so shut the fuck up about it.

That is not Al Pacino doing the voice. His voice is not high enough to replicate what it was back when the movie was made so they got a different guy to do it and you can tell.

couple of things for those who dont know, or if you want check IGN for the details. the game will NOT be coming out for next gen, it will be on the xbox and ps2. why? i dont know. the game takes place in an alternate storyline where instead of dying in the end, he catches soza behind him and shoots him. but i do agree even for the xbox and ps2, the graphics need to be touched up a bit, and some may think its a copy of vice city. but really vice city(one of my favorite games) was a copy of scarface, and some of carlitos way. but this should turn out to be a good game, and the guy impersonating pacino's voice is doing an excellent job.

I cant fuc^&&* wait, And I saw its coming out for the PC, HELL YEAH, usually you have to wait a year or so. The graphics didnt look as good as San Andreas but gameplay is everything and this game looks to have some different aspects from the GTA series. And yes its probably the same game as VICE CITY but its still cool with Scarface and that damn song "take it to the limit" <---that song gets stuck in my head. oh well i'll "buy" it when it comes out

dont u get it Vice city was made to replacate Scarface almost perfactly the mansion the time period the location if u look hard enough in Vice City then u can find the room where Tony montanna's cosin was killed wit the chainsaw

[Edit] This is basically GTA: Vice City with modified characters and locations from the movie. Also, the creators of the original Vice City were actually inspired by Miami Vice and not Scarface as people have said on this thread....hence the title.

The BBC had a program on two years ago looking at video game violence, and the two Scottish guys who created Vice City said they grew up watching the television series and thought a game based loosely on MV would be a great idea.

Just thought I'd point that out, kids.
